Hey TCC and RC.

Yeah, Civil War is up to Issue #2 right now. I haven't read it, as I pretty much avoid Marvel (with the exception of Neil Gaiman's new Eternals series).

As I understand, the new law in Civil War makes it compulsory for superheroes to register with the government, and in support of the law, Spider-man unmasks and reveals that he's Peter Parker. It was huge (real life) news, all over the radio and newspapers in the U.S. last week.

Pretty interesting move by Marvel, but it feels like they're clawing desperately for new readership after losing out badly to DC's Infinite Crisis and One Year Later titles (Civil War is, after all, Marvel's second enormous company-wide event in only 6 months).

The new rumour is that Civil War will see Captain America defect to Canada, which is in my opinion a much cooler idea.

I read in the paper recently about Marvel's new series, where superheroes, thanks to a new law, must unmask themselves.
Is it Civil War? Can't remember the name.
Whadya think of it? Seen any yet?
